  • Yes! We will always try to accommodate walk-ins whenever we can! If you walk in and meet with an artist and your idea is a bit more complex or involved your artist may decide it would be best to set up an appointment.

  • Cash, Card, and Venmo

  • Make sure you wear something comfortable! If you are getting tattooed in an area that requires you to be exposed make sure your clothing choice is one that that allows your artist to access the area easily. Bikinis/bathing suits are good choices for ribs/hips/side pieces, zip up hoodies for arms, pants with loose waistbands, pasties for sternum areas, etc.

  • Please bring your drivers license or any other form of state issued identification as well as a secondary form of ID with your name on it.

You can also bring headphones, a drink (sealable), and/or a small snack if you need (such as a granola bar or chips). Your artist may give you a break depending on the length of your session.

  • Look at artist’s portfolios. Ask yourself if you can imagine your tattoo idea drawn by the person whose portfolio you’re viewing. Look at their line work and their shading to see if they have the technical ability you’re looking for. Do they make artwork/tattoos that you like? You can also schedule a consultation to chat about your idea and to determine if you’re comfortable working with them.

The best way to get a good tattoo is to find an artist that you can place your trust in to execute your idea. Your tattoo artist can only create something amazing for you if you let them, so sometimes its best to not get caught up in the details and let them handle the design.

When trying to decide what you’d like to get, try to avoid looking at other tattoos. You wouldn’t love it if someone designed their tattoo based on yours, so try not to design yours based on someone else’s. Looking at other tattoos may be helpful when trying to decide placement and size, but if you’d like a truly custom tattoo, looking at Pinterest, book, or printed material, for artwork, graphics, photographs, and real life references are awesome ways to get a unique tattoo. Bring those to your artist!

  • Your artist will always sit down with you to plan out large scale work. All large scale work begins with a consultation to figure out what subject matter is important to the wearer and how that subject matter can be composed to fit the body in a manner that is organized, clear, and flows well with the person’s anatomy and natural posture. Large scale work always has room for more detail, but with that being said, sometimes less is more and omitting information can really enhance the visually important elements in a tattoo.

Changing ideas or adding information after the initial consult is not a good idea as a well composed tattoo will always look better than one that has been pieced together after. If you trust your artist to give you something great, they will deliver!

Large scale work also takes multiple sessions and you may need to book more after the first scheduled ones are over. Remember, you and your artist are humans with different energy levels, so you may want your piece finished by a certain time, but its best to let the tattooing process happen organically and to not set expectations on how long you may or may not sit.

  • No, all designs are shown to the client at their appointment. Consultations are a great way to work out the details with your artist prior to the appointment, that way there are no surprises when you see your design. Any changes you’d like to your drawing may be made at the appointment.

(Note: changes to the drawing must be within reason, they cannot be a pivot from the original idea or you may forfeit your appointment and deposit).

  • Maybe a little bit, but you can do it! The best way to manage pain is to make sure your body is rested, hydrated, and you’ve had a solid meal before getting tattooed.

  • Under no circumstances are children permitted in the tattoo studio. If you cannot find childcare for your appointment it will be deemed a cancellation and your deposit will be forfeited.

  • Yes, you may bring 1 friend, as long as they are well behaved 😊

  • At your appointment your artist will bandage your tattoo, when you get home you can take that bandage off. You do not need to bandage your tattoo again. Our aftercare information is located here.

You can shower, workout, and do all your normal daily activities, as long as you make sure your tattoo is covered with loose clothing, and as long as you are not soaking your tattoo. Bathing and swimming is not recommended for at least two weeks post-tattoo. Please book your appointment accordingly if you are going on vacation or traveling.

Your tattoo may flake up to a week after your appointment where dead skin will fall off and new skin will begin to grow. This is totally normal! Be gentle when you wash and care for your tattoo. You may also see scabbing and bruising, this is also totally normal! Do not pick your scabs. You will introduce bacteria which can lead to infection and your artist will not touch up your tattoo for free if you interfere with the healing process. If at any point you suspect your tattoo may be infected contact your doctor immediately.
